About Me
I am a Sydney-based Physiotherapist with 25 years of experience, spending 18 of those years in the UK. For over a decade, I have specialised in the treatment of cyclists, triathletes, and runners.
I began cycling in 2006, starting in Triathlon but switching over to road racing after a few years.
I have a genuine love of road racing, in particular, the race strategy and technical skills needed to do well. However, I also love adventure rides and bike packing trips, both on tarmac and gravel.
As a cyclist, I have a good understanding of the bike, biomechanics, training, recovery, and the unique loads cycling places on our bodies. Combined with the background medical and injury knowledge I have acquired from being a Physio, I am confident in not only treating your injury, but also preventing them. I also combine my cycling knowledge and Physiotherapy skills to offer bike fitting services for all levels of riders.
My overall aim is to minimise the time you spend away from your sport, as well as equipping you with management strategies to prevent ongoing injury and enable you to become more resilient, efficient and effective athletes.
Cycling is not just a form of exercise, hobby or sport. For many of us, it forms part of our identity and social life. It gives us goals to work towards and a sense of achievement. It can be a source of escape, relaxation, and joy.
